Occupational Therapist- Narellan

InMotion Group is growing again! This time, we are looking for another OT to join our team to work with in our paediatric assessment and therapy business Kids InMotion. If you are passionate about working with people with children and families, enjoy a varied caseload, can think on your feet- then this role is for you!

Prior experience is a bonus, however we can provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to help you become a competent therapist. You will also join a team of experienced allied health professionals to learn from and work with.    The position is based in Narellan, NSW and predominately will be working in the South-West of Sydney in our clinic, as well as at clients homes and schools. 

The role will involve:  

• Conducting initial assessments for private and NDIS clients- assessing for handwriting/ fine motor skills, coordination/ gross motor skills, developmental milestones, sensory processing/ self regulation, emotional regulation/ behaviour
• Providing therapy in clinic, homes or schools to assist our clients and their families achieve their goals
• Report writing
• Assessments of assistive technology for paediatric clients
• Working in a multi disciplinary team, including Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Specialists and Social Workers 

Position Requirements:

• A degree in Occupational Therapy 
• Eligibility for unrestricted registration with AHPRA
• Eligible to provide services under Medicare
• Current Working with Children Check
• Criminal History Check/ Police Check
• Current Drivers’ License & access to your own car for appointments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management
