Child Psychologist - Narellan

Full Time or Part Time 

Kids InMotion in Wollongong is expanding our team and looking for an experienced Child Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team.

We are seeking a Registered or Clinical Psychologist who has solid experience and a strong passion for working with children and families. The role will involve:

• Clinical work- focused on children funded by NDIS, Medicare or Privately paying:
• Assessments
• Delivery of Therapy
• Report writing
• Administration of Standardized Assessment tools: WISC, WPPSI, WIATT, ABAS, ADOS and so on
• Initial service delivery set up: development of clinical templates and procedures to guide psychological services
• Assisting with recruitment and growth of psychological services

The position may suit a Psychologist who is looking to transition into a leadership/ supervisory role. The successful applicant will be joining an team of OT’s, Speech Pathologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners.

Position Requirements:

• Psychology qualifications
• Registered or Clinical Psychologist
• Eligible to provide unrestricted services under Medicare & NDIS
• Prior experience working with children & families
• Prior experience in administering psychological assessments
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current drivers’ license and access to a car for work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management

Desirable

• Previous supervisory, team management or leadership experience
